How to properly bleed hyd. disc brakes

How do you do it? I thought that it would be just like bleeding the brakes on a car but that ain't working. Any help guys? Thanks in advance.

What kind of brakes? The procedures can vary slightly from brand to brand. Also, you might get more responses in the brake forum.

Yeah . . . different brands = slightly different method of bleeding. Check out your manufacture's website for a service manual.

I just bled mine a few days ago but I have Hayes, dunno if that's what you have.
