    Calling all Pedal experts.....

my knowledge of pedals goes no further than screwing them into my cranks and complaining about them.

So I was wondering if anyone could help me out here,

firstly are all spindels a standard size?

The reason I ask is I am trying to put together a lightweight platform pedal for my commuting bike, I have a pair of MKS LUX Comp platform pedals and a set of Bebop SL with a Hollow steel axle.

I would like to stick the spindle from the Bebops into the MKS platforms.

Is this possible, would there be bearing problems etc ?

    any info greatfully appreciated

Unfortunately, it is a case of some spindles are similar, but you will have to try it out and see if it will work. First thing to check is the sort of bearings they have. They will either be cup and cone, or cartridge-style bearings. If they are the same, you might be lucky
