    Ftm Carbon rear shock settings....
Have been running my bike for about 2 weeks now and would like some tips on tuning my RT3 correct.

I'm about 220lb with gear, and currently I'm running about 220psi in the shock. This gives me 30% sag. Now for my consern, I can't get full travel from my shock. I have about 20% travel left after riding my trails. Trails include 2-3 feet drops and a few jumps. I'm not the most agressive rider, but it looks like I use the same travel on easier rides/trails as well.

Anyone got the same issue? Can I adjust this without lowering airpreassure and have more sag (= too low BB)? Or do I need to get my shock Push'd?

    RT3 on the FTM
I am about to change out my RP23 for an RT3 - as the RP23 was blowing thru travel too easy

Looks like I've been very wrong on this one.

I thought I was able to use the whole travel length on the shock. I've just measured the shock total stroke length, and it is 63mm. But as I've read in another thread here, the stroke length on the FTM is 48mm. I'm using the full length of my stroke, and am sorry I've posted this question.

No worries. If you are using full travel, and not feeling a harsh bottom out, that is perfect. Have fun with the FTM!
