On the dirt again ĦĦĦĦĦĦĦ - SB repaired

Finally I´ve got my sweet baby back, for those who remember, I discovered a little crack at the headtube 3 months ago, so I send frame to repair at a well known spanish welder, once repaired I send it to the painter, well the result is this:

    Before:

    After:

I had to admit that an anodized frame ( like the original mine ) is better looking than a painted one ( not to mention that is a little bit more heavy ); next upgrades will be a Ti. seatpost and stem.

Many thanks to Tomas ( the welder ), Manolo ( the painter ) and E.J. from Titus Cycles ( Decals and headtube badge supplier )

    Best regards from Spain.

Congrats. Is the bead in this photo the reweld?

You've certainly done a lot of bolt tuning. Do you have a total bike weight?

    Felicidades, Majo!!!

    It looks drop dead gorgeous.

Out of curiosity, how much did you pay for such repair and repaint?

    Man, that's awesome.

Yes it is, but the pic has a extrange effect ( the weld looks much better than the pic shows )

    The bike weights 26,10 lbs. ( 11,82 Kgs. )

    Hi again Mr. Warp ĦĦĦĦ

    The total cost was:

    welding + heat treatment: 90 € ( that´s 127 USD )
    Paint work: 120 € ( that´s 170 USD )

    Total cost: 297 USD

Getting my sweet SB again as new: priceless ĦĦĦĦĦĦĦ

    Greetings form Spain.
