Will be in Blanco for wedding... looking to ride, and camp.

I will be in Blanco and San Antonio for a wedding the weekend of May 14th. I am from Chicago, and would love to checkout Texas singletrack at its best. What do you recommend? I have 2 days of riding available and would like to hit one or two trail systems. Got anything to persuade me from going to Fruita a week later ?

I am tentatively planning on Flat Rock, and Gov. Canyon.

Any thoughts? One of the riders has been out west, one is a very skilled rider with mx experience, and the third is just starting, but capable.

Thanks for any and all help in advance.

    Josh
p.s. I have browsed this site http://www.mountainbiketx.com/texas/trails/index6.php but its hard to decide just what is what from a few words.

Your plan is top notch. May sure you hit the real ale brewery.

You certainly picked out two of the better choices for that area, though GCSNA is a little bit of a drive. Instead of GCSNA you might consider Madrone Trail or Reimer's Ranch Park or even Pedernales Falls State Park (though I haven't rode there since it was expanded so much). Definitely hit up Flat Rock Ranch, though.

No disrespect Pedigre but I'd hit Pace Bend before the trails you mentioned.

I think we changed our plans and will be riding and staying at Reveille Peak Ranch for at least the first two days... If we get bored we will move on if not we will keep exploring at Reveille. I am fascinated by this Super D course.

All that being said... what we really desire is some flowy single track. Anything come close to this?
