Really, no AM trails? What have you ridden in Austin? What are you looking for in an "AM trail"?

We have a little bit of everything in Austin, except for bonafide FR and DH lines with multiple structures and big hits.

Just checked out your rig...you more into the dirt jump/pump track thing? You will not enjoy pedaling that thing around Austin and we have no shuttles.

Lot's a PT/DJ areas in Austin too. Hit up Mojo, but avoid the Voodoo forum

Try Jack Brooks Park. It is ~45 minutes south of Houston, south on I-45 (Gulf Freeway) to FM 2004 then ~4 miles to the park entrance. Check out the videos on youtube.

Try the paved trails between Memorial Dr and Allen Parkway, even in downtown there are some fun areas.

I've met quite a few Houston area riders in Waco riding Cameron Park but none have mentoned Jack Brooks Park. Vids on youtube look great! I don't think I've seen any threads about it here either, or at least, that I took note of (obviously).

Check out the forums at ghorba.org for upcoming rides. I know they used to have one every Sunday around 1pm but not sure if they're doing that anymore. Go with a guide your first time so you don't miss all the fun stuff.
