    Trails in San Marcos?

Been here for a few semesters now and still haven't seen what San Marcos has to offer. My roomate and I are planning to get our bikes soon and I was wondering if there's any good mtb trails in San Marcos. Thx.

I have not ridden it but have heard about the Prospect Trail, part of the San Marcos Greenbelt Alliance...

Since you are at Texas State, be sure to check out the Texas State Cycling Team

If you are up for a little drive, there is the Madrone Trail at Canyon Lake.

If you have facebook, you should join the Bicycle Club group. I am president and I ride a little of everything, purely recreational though. We will soon be setting up official rides for the bike club, but I am riding all the time. Join and hit me up sometime, I'm always down for a ride.

    Prospect Park down Prospect Street
Behind Dakota Ranch on RR 12 there are some trails and in the city park there are some trails leading to a bmx jump section. That's all I know of.
