    Trail Recommendations near I-35

I'll be driving into Dallas shortly from Kansas through Oklahoma City down I-35. Any recommendations for trails in Oklahoma or N. Texas not too far from I-35? Thanks.

    Three b/w Oklahoma and Dallas.

Bar H is about 45 min off 35, and well worth the drive.

    Lake Ray Roberts

    Isle de Bois

I have not ridden these last two, but I have heard good things about Ray Roberts.

Thanks. Bar H Ranch looks like it merits several hours of riding.

It is one of my favorites, and yea you could get a few good hours in. It is worth the 45 minute jaunt off IH 35.

Bar-H is a tad overrated IMO. More elev. than nearby trails, but it has no drops, no jumps, no rocks. The trail is largely comprised of sandy soil and small limestone rock, neither of which provide much traction on the climbs or corners.

Lake Murray in OK has some fun features if you like rocks, small drops and even some stunts.

Isle DuBois has an "expert" loop that will test your rock garden skills for miles.

Johnson Branch (Ray Roberts) has a nice flow to it, some "easy" tech stuff and is mostly shaded. It's a pretty good ride.

Check out Dorba.org for trail conditions as we've had a 5hitload of rain the last few weeks.

Agree with Dangeruss... Bar H is overrated. Devil's backbone is the only interesting thing there. Limestone baseball sized rocks on the fast downhill no traction

Johnson's Branch (Lake Roberts) has great flow and it's a good trail

IDB, too many rocks for my taste and no flow

All are good, and as everything, check them out..... you will have your favorite

Rockledge (aka Northshore). Go west on FM 3040 off I-35 in Lewisville. 15 minutes tops to park.

    Go to :

    http://www.dorba.org/ click on trails link
