I ride a rigid IF Deluxe (stock). With the steel fork and tight cockpit, it is point and shoot. Everywhere from Emma Long to the Greenbelt the East Coast geometry works for me.

    12" BB height

Not trying to hijack, but what trail do you suggest other than the greenbelt in Austin? I like technical singletrack...thought about EL, but it sounds more a place to huck...looking for something new next time I make it to town.

I ride Emma Long with my rigid hardtail. Yes there are ledges, up and down. Along with technical rock gardens....

Also the Greenbelt 'side trails' are good for a technical fix.

Thanks...may soon buy rigid 29 SS unless I convine myself I'm too old!...I need to go try Emma Long. Never really sure what side trials are worth going...sounds like I need to do some more exploring.
