My condolences to Dave Boyd's family and friends

Dave was a special person. An exceptional athlete, exceptional human, exceptional example to us all. I live in Taos and a friend of mine told me this afternoon of his passing.

I have known Dave for a number of years from racing up here in Colorado and New Mexico. I'm just devastated.

There are alot of people up this way in the Rockies he so loved, that are thinking of Dave, his family and friends back in the Lone Star State.

I never met the man, but his presence will certainly be missed. My deepest sympathy to those close to him.

I don't know what to say... I did not really know him, just got past by him on the trail and exchanged a couple of words in the parking lot. But this really touched me. My thoughts are with his family and friends.

Read what his Texas friends and acquaintances are saying here and here.
