    MojoFest '06, June 24-26th

Once again the Madrone trail at Canyon Lake is the host venue of MojoFest. C'mon out for a weekend of cycling cameraderie.

Cycling, toobin', BBQ, cold frosty beverages, moovie night....

Looks like fun. My wife came home from her first RLAG ride ever last night and (after spending a half an hour describing her experience there at City Park in detail) proceeded to tell me all about this event.

She's hooked. We are planning on trying to attend.

    Excellent.

The RLAG group is great. A large goup came out last year. This year they are leading one of the fun rides.

    Hope you can make it.

    Moovies:
I did my best to get as many movies from the Bicycle Film Festival that I could lay my hands on.

First (not from the BFF) was Pining for the Fjords by MTBR's own Biking Viking, Geir Kjosavik from Tronheim, Norway.

Next we saw The NYC Drag Race by Lucas Brunell

Then we saw Peter Sutherland's Pedal

And ROAM by the Collective ROAM was sponsored by Specialized.

The intermission was Futurama: Roswell That Ends Well. A Classic Futurama episode

The second feature was Raising Arizona, the second movie in the Coen Brothers "hayseed" Trilogy.

    some trail axxion.
