Lake Bryan Single Speed Gearing Question.

I'm looking for gearing advice for a 29er Singlespeed at the Lake Bryan Trails. I'll be riding them for the first time soon and would like to have the bike set up before a make the short trip from Houston.

My Houston trail Gering is 2:1 or 34:17. I ride/race this ratio at Double lake (BRC) and Huntsville for 20 to 30 mile rides. Should I bother changing for a fun ride?

    (At Tyler State Park / Rocky hill I ran a 34:19 and Warda/Ruston 32:17)

    Thanks in advance.

You should be fine with your Houston gearing. The trail mostly flat with a few dips and a couple easy climbs up the levy.

Since you're in the area, I believe there are some trails at lake sommerville. Lake Bryan is super easy. I hope that's not the only reason you are going to BCS.
I ride because exercising sucks, it's a lot of fun, and it makes beer taste oh so much better.
