    Course Conditions

Rode 3+ laps the last two days....Keystone hasn't been getting all the rain Tulsa has and the trail/course is suprisingly in really good shape.
Got a little dirty, but not muddy and drivetrain came through clean. The course should be great by this weekend....if we get any big storms moving through this week I will post trail conditions update.

    Updated Course Conditions

Rode the course Sunday....quite a few puddles....I ain't gonna B.S. we got pretty dirty.

Good news: It was draining fast and we went back out today to dig trenches in the places still holding water. Trails had dried out a lot since yesterday, should be good for pre-riding tomorrow w/o getting too dirty.
If weather stays Sunny (like they are saying it will) by Sat/Sun the course should be in ideal shape....keeping the fingers crossed!

    Come on up

All this talk of $2k payouts and course conditions, I realized I haven't mentioned other fun things happening at the race.

There will be a race announcer/DJ working, we are renting a Jumping Castle for the kids, will have BBQ on the grill, the Sound Pony http://thesoundpony.com/ is bringing a keg (or two), and there are even rumors going around that Jello-Shots may be present after the race

Speaking of rumors....word on the street is Scott Henry and Cameron Chambers (former 24Hour National Champ) will be attending as well.

Weather is looking perfect, course will be dried out by this weekend (almost there now), we are working hard to making this a really fun event! We would love to see some TX racers show up!

    Course has dried out!

Course has dried out....here is a pic of Ray's bike after 2 1/2 laps yesterday.

Forecast is calling for 40-50% chance of rain this weekend....we will be doing No Rain Dances all day today and tomorrow

Kyle Smith of Tulsa...took home the Air9. His second bike race ever, he was pumped.

A big thank you to everyone that showed up. The course was in great condition and it could have actually used a little rain...go figure.
We had a blast putting on the race and felt it was successful. We had a good number of riders come in from other states in the region (TX, MO, KS, AR), it was great seeing new faces turn up at the race.
We are looking forward to putting on a bigger/better event next year. Stay tuned....
