IMBA’s Take-a-Kid Mountain Biking Day with GHORBA

Come celebrate IMBA's Take-a-Kid Mountain Biking Day with GHORBA on October 1, 2011, at 10 a.m. We will be hosting the event at James Brindley Memorial Trail at Sugar Land's Memorial Park and it is open to both members and non-members. It will be a great way to introduce a kid to the fun of trail riding! We will have courses emphasizing safety and basic skills to make riding more enjoyable. Parents or guardians must accompany their children and are encouraged to join them as we introduce them to this great trail. Anyone riding their bikes on the trail must have a helmet! After we have spent some time on the trail, we will have lunch and snacks available. Please be sure to RSVP so we have enough food and drinks for everyone. Also, if you have any questions or to RSVP, please email us at [email protected].

Sugar Land Memorial is the easiest trail in Houston but it is fun. There are no roots, climbs, rocks, or sand but it's designed kind of like a pump track with lots of fast, short ups-n-downs. Perfect for beginner riders or those who want to challenge themselves on the 14 TTF's. The entire trail is onlyh 1.25 miles long.
