    Huntsville

    Hello

Does anyone know if the trails at Huntsville are open? I found a couple of days off from the hell-hole and I'm thinking that I'll take a run up there.

    Thanks!

Thanks nico2me! Can you tell me a bit about the trail system? I'm pretty new to the Houston area.

    Thanks!

Trail is a beginner friendly course. Sandy and rooty but a good training trail. It is a 9 mile loop or a 7.5 miler depending on where you start. Map is available at the GHORBA site or at the park itself.

I suggest park all the way at the end by the swim area. They just built a new shower facility there so you can clean up after you ride. From there and back is approx 9.3 miles. You can also hook up with the GHORBA guys for a group ride. Not this weekend though since this weekend is Lake Bryan race. Enjoy.
