Hello! New and live in Katy

My names Matt, lived in Katy my whole life and I rode when I was younger and just got back into it and wanted to start riding more. Wanted to find some trails dirt jumps or whatever. Maybe wanted to get some people together and build some trails. My current bike setup is a 2019 Ns Zircus 26" dirt jumper...

Get to the Anthills quick...We don't know what sections will be closed exactly, for how long and how much trail will be eliminated. You may only have a couple of weeks left.

    Howdy, and welcome back.
If you check Trailforks or MTB project apps, I believe there was a recently created pump & jump track in Katy. GHORBA is working with Missouri city to create one in Independence Park, also. Anthills are a good place to ride most of the time, with plenty of jumps for all skill levels.
Trailforks app is your friend for finding good existing trails, but don't go out building trails willynilly (usually results in problems, trust me). What area are you thinking might be a good spot for new trails? Fort Bend just established a new 501c3 MTB group that you might want to contact in the future if there's an area you think might be a good candidate for a trail system.
