    Ft Worth Area Trails

Has anyone rode Quanah Hill or the Parks of Aledo trails out by Weatherford?

I've ridden Quanah numerous times, and I moved before I could ride the trail in Aledo.

Quanah is pretty cool now that "El Bandido" is complete, Ryan and Christian have a few extensions they want to do and some polish work, should end up a tad over 7 miles.

POA is a fast trail but fun , WMBC is set to take over Trail Stewardship pretty soon.

Parks of Aledo... that's also known as Point Vista, right?

I just recently discovered that trial on accident. Pleasantly surprised. Nice couple of short loops in a new development. That surrounding development is growing fast. I suspect what is currently a rural feel will begin to fade quickly. Based on the signs I saw, the trail was professionally built (forgot the company name).

You didn't quit riding because you're old, you're old because you quit riding.

Yes Sir, "Shadow" was the builder and was present at our last WMBC meeting that was held at the Point Vista Gazebo along with the land developer and residents. There are some rumors floating around that it will expand as the developer builds farther to the Southwest as the Parks Of Aledo foot print grows.
