    El Paso in early Feb

How is the weather in El Paso in early February? I'm considering a visit, trying to get a couple days away from the cold, dark, wet mid-atlantic.

It looks, from the trail mapping sites, like there is enough trails to keep me busy for ~3 days. Are there trails I should definitely hit? Shops or clubs I should look up?

    Thanks for any advice

Typically 60's and 70's and usually dry, nights can still be freezing though. It would generally be a nice time to go.

The weather can cover a lot of types but like Joules said the upside is there. Look at the El Paso Bicycle Club for ride and trail information. They have a website and are on Meetup.com.

    Checkout geobetty.com for trail maps.

As someone from the east coast who lived in EP, get ready for some fun riding. Use geobetty.com, plus you can find geobetty maps at the bike stores.

For 3 days of riding try the following
    Redd Road first
    north east/chuck heinrick park
    tom mays park

Each of these has its own flavor with plenty of desert mtn riding.
