Easter in Dallas, Where to Ride?

Looks like I better read a few of the other threads in here.

Family is taking 4-5 days in Dallas this weekend.

My son and I bringing the Tallboys with.

Looking for 2-3 hour ride. Not afraid to climb. I like fast and flowy, son likes a bit more chunk & tech. WOuld prefer trail which is easy to follow (or clearly marked).

    Big Cedar? Cedar Hills Park?

Will likely do 2 or 3 rides. Ideally, we would ride in an area where wife and hang with other two younger kids (with playground or hiking trails).

    any thoughts would be appreciated!!

Sounds like Big Cedar fits the bill, although no playground for kids but there is a walking trail. Only a part of Big Cedar is open right now due to all the rain, but with this wind and warmer temps probably more will be open by the weekend.

I live in Fort Worth so I'm not well versed on places in Dallas as far as bbq.
