Best front tire for Memorial Park Houston?
Any recommendations for front tire for trails in Memorial Park in Houston - semi packed dirt with lots of roots. Looking to improve cornering through the somewhat slippery corners.

I like the Nevegal DTC (dual compound) for a good all around front tire. The harder center compound rolls quick and the stick-E knobs on the end grips good when railing around loose corners.

not that i'm an expert rider or anything, buTt on my old fisher hardtail i used panaracer firepro xc 1.9's and i never slipped at memorial or anywhere.

'blocky' type threads but great all around, at least i thought they did great.

I like the Maxxis High Roller Semi-Slick. I know it's a heavy tyre (so am I), but it doesn't pinch flat on those root, rolls quickly on the flat and the strong side knobs corner really well.

Plus as a semi slick I can also go chase roadies on the picnic loop.

I ride a Maxxis Ridgeline in the front and Kenda Small Block 8 in the rear.

Have been considering a switch to the crossmark in the front.
