    Best Barton route

I used to ride Barton years ago when you could start at the pool and ride to the Hill of Life and back without “obstruction”. The last time I went there, there was a part of the trail that was closed off for preservation. While it was only a brief inconvenience to go around, it included having to walk a portion of the trail. Does anybody know of a good route that does not include walking to get from one portion of trail to the next? The portion I speak of puts you on foot on a slick cliff face.

You can still go that full route from one end to the other without having to get off your bike. There are spots that are pedestrian only, but that are legal bike routes around those sections.

I believe the section you are referring to can be ridden around but you just cross the creek for a bit then cross back. The only time you need to walk your bike through the boulders is during flooding. (Section maybe 1 or 2 miles from Barton Springs Pool).
Keep trying to do the awesomest thing you've ever done.
