Bartonville TX (Lantana / Copper Canyon area) partial ban on bikes...

The town of Bartonville has amended their laws to
try and discourage cyclists from riding on their roads. The new
Ordinance, 484-09, has been changed to include "Training" as defined by
    the Chief of Police
    ... Dave Howell (940-349-1600)
    as any cycling group of
    ten (10) or more people.

    ............

They did not specify what "training" is. The Ordinance states that any group of cyclists in excess of nine (9) riders must obtain a permit to ride. The list of requirements for the permit are listed in the attached document, but include such things as: no less than 45 days prior to the event, a fee of $50.00, provisions for insurance, and the approximate size of the event in terms of entrants.
