Welcome back! Are you back for good or around the halfway point?

Where exactly are you in central TX?

Belton Lake Outdoor Recreation Area is in your backyard! Hit up ArmySlowRdr on the forums here and I bet you he'll take you on a tour. Better be fast as the guy can haul!

BLORA is my favorite trail and I'm dying to go up and spend a day. Probably next month.

ArmySlowRdr is the man. He invited me up to BLORA one Saturday and showed me the intermdiate loop. I'll tell you what, that man can climb rocky trails!

If you're going to BLORA plan for a day of fun. In addition to a great mountain bike trail they have horseback rides, water slides, boat rentals, paddle boats, camping, nature trails, and a great swimming area in the lake. Military personal get in for free and civilians only pay $8 per car. We get there early and spend the entire day having fun. I hate having to leave.
