Alex at Cycle Progression can take care of you on the Turner, he's a great guy.

You have to ride it at both city park and the greenbelt.

They don't have their new Turner demos yet so I got the 429.

Where are city park and the greenbelt. They sound like tame trails?? Are the names misleading?

Was the Sultan jealous after cheating on it all last week?

It should be interesting riding in running shoes, no water pack or gloves....plus riding the flatlands of texas after 4 days of Moab!

City Park (also Emma Long Motorcyle park) will rip you a new one if you're not paying attention. It's basically a MX play ground that allows mtbers to come along a play. A lot of bare rock (though not smooth or slick rock) and baby head corners. Will give any bike and rider a good work out.
It's not enough that we do our best; sometimes we have to do what's required.

Since I also had no helmet I visited the greenbelt. I rode everything that even slightly resembled a trail. It was a great place for the 429.

Mrwhlr - that was not meant as an insult, just fact. Austin is flat compared to Moab (which has some very technical trails). I'd be just as bummed about riding my home trails after being in Moab.
