Anybody in Abilene or Dyess AFB?

New to the Dyess getting my bike shipped to me in the next couple of weeks, is the Buck creek trails a nice trail?
Is the Bronte Ranch trail worth the hour trip?

Buck Creek is an excellent trail with some good technical sections. Being that this area isn't really mountainous you won't find any real long climbs or downhill sections, it still has some good ups and downs. Biketown is the place to go to get all the info. At least 12 miles of trail. http://biketownforum.com/viewforum.php?f=7

Click Texana Ranch for info on the trails there and the individual you would need to contact in order to ride them.

I was there at Dyess from 2004-08. The folks there at Biketown will treat you right. I haven't run into another bike shop as good as them since. Buck Creek will surprise you; give it a shot. San Angelo State Park is also good as well as Possum Kingdom. Other than that you are looking at a 2-3 hr drive for any other trails.
    Good luck

Ride the awesome trails at Bar H Ranch down near St. Jo. I rode it when I was at Dyess and it wasnt that long of a drive.

Please pardon the horrid necro-post, but I'm an Abilene rider! My wife and another couple ride all the time! Buck Creek is our primary.
