Any trails out in LA to ride at?

    Well.......

Going to Louisiana for T-Giving and I am going to be bored as he** out there. I plan to take my bike out there to see about riding some trails.

I will be in Ft. Polk, the closest park I see around there is Kisatchie National Forest /
Wild Azalea National Recreation (see below).

    Anyone here rode this trail?
Claims to be about 31 miles in length.

If not, what other trails have any of you ridden out in this part of the woods?

Thanks for any suggestions. I want to do something out there and I refuse to sit on my arse and bore myself to death after the T-giving feast.

    Lake Kincade Trail

Wild Azalea is long but incredibly boring. The Lake Kincade Trail is def. more fun. It has a few short steep sections, common to that area. It's also in Kisatchie NF. Check with the guys at Red River Cycles in Alexandria for conditions/directions.

    Hope this helps.
