Just trying to get the Texas forum moving Crazydad. Our trails might be kind of flat, but they're very rooty, with steep ups and downs, and I enjoy the ride. I have a very high stress job, and riding beats that out of me.

Btw, I rode the bcgb and walnut creek 2 weekends ago. Had a blast and spent the afternoons with my wife and daughter on lake Travis. You live in an awesome place. I'd move there tomorrow if I could.

I lived in Houston in the early 90's when i got my first mtb and rode some of the trails by Buffalo Bayou in the Dairy Ashford when they were just primitive singletrack. I remember the roots and mud, lots of mud... Never got around to any other trails because I moved back to Austin shortly after I got the bike.

Glad you liked the gb and the 'nut. I ride the nut at least twice a week since it is fairly close to the house. If you ever need a riding partner in Austin, let me know. My friends and I are always up for a ride.
