    Monterey PUG

Amgen Tour of California rolled thru Monterey today. Last night ATOC was based out of the Hyatt, where some friends and myself parked our bikes right infront of the dinning room. all the Euros were tripping out on the pug. The highlight was when team T-Mobile & I were outside goofing off on the PUG.
we hung around, had to sign in for volunteer duty, and watched Bjarne Riis walk in the banquet room, where he was hardly noticed. that tripped me out. I guess it has been 10yrs since he won TDF.
today i had marshalling duties in skyline forest, rode the pug (i dont drive a car) and had it posted where the peleton got a good look at it.

Sweet Pug, like the OD. Got any better pics? I'm surprised the Pug didn't cause a pile-up as the gawkers passed by. Mine draws stares every time I ride it.
The red couch has moved from Alaska to Florida...

OD green is one of my favorite colors.

    Awesome, I envy you.

OT about Riis : he was a mediocre rider IMO until he all at once won the TdF. I've heard from several sides that he had to be woken up by his team's doc once or ore per side to turn him over. Blood thickness of 65% will ask for such measures. EPO was disallowed the following year, Riis hardly hit the pedals anymore.
    Great team manager now though.
