Instigator and Avid Full Metal Jackets

Anyone run these? Did you have to make a shorter run because of the curved top tube?

OK, so I got the Full Metal Jacket and Flak Jacket cable systems installed today...also took took some time to remove the front Derailieur and the associated Shimano LX brake lever/shift pods. Got a set of the Avid Speed Dial 7's and a stand alone LX shift pod I had in a bin. Installed new pads as well. Everything is adjusted and I just need to get my anti chain jump dealio.

Speed Dial Lever and LX pod...

Rear Full Metal Jacket (only did the FMJ for the rearmost part of the rear cable as the surly's curved top tube prevents the instal of the FMJ)

The Instigator with it's new Brother....

So my braking system is basically compression free and entirely sealed.

I admit, once I had my brakes dialed in they were pretty great...awesome feel. These really improved the feel by 100%. I didn't know it could get THIS good.

    Word.
