    Heal clearance on Cross Check?

I'm considering building up a Cross Check as a commuter with racks, flat bar, fenders, etc. I'd assume there is loads of heal clearance even with large rear bags, but I'd like to hear it from someone who knows. Also, have you had any trouble mounting racks and fenders? Enough eyelets?

    thanks!

I have a rear rack and fenders on my Cross Check. There is no problem with enough eyelets, Surly made the thing with all those things in mind. mine doesn't have a front rack so I can't speak to that one. I have good heal clearance with decent sized REI panniers even with my size 12 feet. The problem I have more often is toe clearance with the front fender.

    thanks that sounds good

Kind of what I hoped/expected, but it's good to hear from someone who actually owns one. Guess the Cross Check is now top of my list!
