    Finally finished my LHT!

At long last my LHT is done. Took a while to build because of this dragging cold and looking for parts(ended up raiding my parts bin). Some minor changes in the future(cranks) and some tweaking but I think it will stay the way it is. Test rode it this afternoon and it sure felt rock solid. I can definitely feel the weight but the parts I have on are not exactly light. I like the ride so far and probably will give a more detailed review after a month or so. Enough talk, here are some pics!

Ooh, nice. First time I've seen good pics of that blue color. Looks really good. Nice build too. I must get me one of them.

Very solid bike. Don't expect it to be a light bike but expect a dependable and stable ride. If you are interested in the black cherry color better get it now before they stop making it. I love the blue on this one though.

Yeah, I know... I'm not worried about weight. I'm thinking of a cross country tour some day soon. I'm not too particular about the color either, at least I'm not lusting for the red one...
    Nice bike.

    Nice job!

Don't you hear it asking you for fenders, though?

Please list the components you ended up building it with, if you don't mind. It is always interesting to compare component choices.

I have been commuting on mine every weekday for two weeks now, and my LHT rides awesome. It is the perfect commuter for me. Mine weighs about 30 pounds with fenders, racks, cages, and pedals installed.

Most of all, have a lot of fun riding it.

Fenders will be the next addition(plus cranks, racks etc. ) It was fun building it but took a while for it to be build but it was worth it. Here is the list:

    LHT frame 60
    Midge bars
    Shimano aero brake levers
    FSA Orbit headset
Nashbar deluxe canti brakes(same as Tektro, Cane Creek)
    8spd Ultegra Barend shifters
Ultegra cranks 46/39(Off my cyclocross bike)
    Ultegra front derailleur
    XT rear derailleur
    LX 8spd cassette
    Controltech seatpost
    Broken in WTB saddle
    Mavic T519 on Deore hubs
    WTB Slickasaurus tires 37 c
On my super accurate bathroom scale it weighed in at 26 lbs.
