    Brake pivot blanks???

I'm looking for blanks or plugs to fill the holes left in my KM frame after removing the unused brake pivots on both the frame and forks.

I've tried Brand-X and DMR parts, but the thread pitch appears to be wrong. The plugs or blanks all have a course thread, where as the brake pivots for the frame have a much finer thread.

I've seen builds with the pivots removed and plugs or blanks inserted. I'd appreciate any help in sourcing the correct parts.

    I'm in the UK.

Cheers in advance for any help.

you need some of these Brake Boss Plugs M10 (1.0 Pitch)

I remember a thread showing more options but I can't find it right now

I just ordered mines from them a week ago.

Related question: I'm really struggling to remove the calliper mounts on a new 1x1 fork. My 9mm spanner is just bending when I try and unscrew them. Any hints or will I just have to cut them off

Try a good quality big adjustable spanner on them if tight, the bigger contact area should shift them,

I used DMR little blankers from CRC for my Pugsley, 10mm

In the end I held the flats on the canti pivots in a massive vice and used the fork as a spanner Broke whatever thread lock they used nicely. Thanks for the tip about the blanking bolts from the UK too...

I got plastic ones from my LBS and just "cross-threaded" them in with plenty of grease to keep sea water away from the threads (pugsley).

I have a similar plastic bolt in the unused derailleur hanger hole for the same reason.
