    1x11 Karate Monkey (2014)?

Hello. Does anybody have experience around converting a 2014 Karate Monkey (no MDS) into 1x11? I wonder whether current entry-level 1x11 groups like SRAM NX or Shimano SLX 11sp would fit my KM frame. Just to complete the setup description, I'd use Shimano MT15 wheels and SunRace 46T cassette. Thanks for helping.

Any 1x11 system will work just fine, just avoid a Shimano direct-mount rear derailleur. Not an issue with a Sram setup obviously.

i just threw 1x10 on my mint KM. Went with the Wolftooth 32t oval ring up front, and sun race 11-42 out back. Now that I think about it, I am 75% sure it is 1x10 and not 1x11. Either way. I love it, and am kinda bummed about all the snow we are getting right now.

edit: i didn't have the original MDS chips, so the LBS ordered those.
it's a challenge some of us are ultimately worthy of.
