    1x1 to a 69er

I recently got a 1x1 on the cheap that I will be using for a winter bike. Has anyone made a 69er out of a 1x1 and or just turned it into 29er all together? I have all the parts to experiment except the 29er fork. Just looking for some input before I jump in.

I've been on a 29er for a while now (Fisher Rig) and it seems like a big wheel on the 1x1 would work well as the front end feels kinda low.

I've seen some people run full 29er with a 1x1. I can't remember if they had a special fork, but I think the 26er fork will have clearance.

You can certainly fit a 29 wheel on a 1x1 fork (with disc brake of course). Rear too I think but you may be limited on tyre choice.

    Hello:
I've got a 1x1 set up with 700c x 38c in the back and 700c x 45c in the front with room for fenders. The frame and fork are stock but you need disk brakes as the brake bosses are set up for 26 inch wheels. I'm sure that larger tires would have fit if I wasn't using fenders.
