    XX claimed vs actual weights
Good job SRAM, I just got my hands on some XX parts, the 11-36 cassette is bang on the 208gr claimed weight and the rear derailleur is 1gr lighter than claimed at 180gr. I only got the rear shifter, 80gr without the pre-installed cable and no bar clamp, the clamp is 10gr...

If you don't mind, how much was the rear shifter by itself?

What setup are you going with, 3x10?

MSRP for a single shifter is 140$ US...

3x10? 22x36... with that gearing, walking, slowly, would be much faster. ;) No I was already using a 2x9 setup and I'll never go back to three rings and I'm even going one step further and go 1x10. With the bigger spread with the 11-36 cassette, it's viable for me. If I dont like it, I'll go back with my 29/42 rings...

No, here climbs can be steep but never too long, and the long ones aren't too steep...

    Still laughing about this one.

I do live in CO and tried a 2x9 with a 29/42 with an 11-32 and it was a no go. Worked great for a weekend over in Fruita and 18rd but pretty much worthless for any high alpine climbs.

I really want to pull the trigger on this stuff but will wait for a buddy to buy it, ride it and he might realize that this was not a good purchase and then buy it off of him for a whole lot less then the crazy prices they are asking for. He will be getting the 26/39 combo for crankset.
