XT 10sp cassette with XX groupset

Can someone please confirm if the new XT 10 speed cassette is compatible used with all other Sram XX components?

Obviously it is.... sram and shimano both use the same spacing on their 10 speed cassettes.

More important question is why you would use the XT cassette? It is a freaking boat anchor.... 337 grams! Just wait and get an X0 10 speed cassette if you want something less expensive than the XX.

oh, the SLX weight is a verified true weight...because it's on my training wheels working perfectly with an XX drivetrain. heavy, but cheap for the muddy season in oz.

the xtr better shift damn well for people to buy it over the new xo cassette which is claimed at a similar weight but all steel construction and won't damage the freehub body.

The Shimano cassettes have different intermediate cogs to Sram, so some people might choose to run them because they suit them better. I probably will myself, plus I expect they will be much cheaper. I'd rather have gear ratios that suit me better than panic over a few grams - especially at the XX price.
