The weight, that's what I'd love to know. Looks sweet though, very nice job.

LOL! I swore no XX w/out gripshift...as we al know, rumor has it its on the way!

Took her out for a quick (and muddy) 4 mile trail ride today. Shifting is flawless...front shifting is very quick! Fork is great...used the XLoc a few times.

That's surprisingly heavy for your build. My build with the same frame is 24.5 pounds with stock brakes, shifters, fork and heavier wheels, but lighter tires. I wonder if your scale isn't a bit off.

One question, why the nevegals on a cross country bike? There's much better and lighter tires that would compliment an epic better. Are you running tubeless?

russya, I don't have a good bike scale, so I used my digital bathroom scale (weighed me and my bike and then just me). I'll weigh again on the next trip to the bike shop.

I usually ride SB8s for 3/4s of the year on the back. I like the grip of the Nevegals on the front. Recommendations always welcome. I have tried Spec tires (Captains, Fast Track), but do not really like them. I do run tubeless (running rim strips right now).

What tires do you run (type of terrain)?
