    SRAM/TruVativ XX compatible Q-Rings

    Just a couple questions,
When switching over to the 40/27 do I need to change anything?
Will my Factory chain still fit?
    Thanks

Yup! No need to change anything.

I've swapped my 42/26T Specialized rings with 40/27T, working great.

At the highest point, the 40T Q-Ring corresponds to a 42T 'round' ring, at the lowest point with a 38T.

Do you by any chance want to sell the 39t chainring...

    Hi MSC-

Did you have to change the chainring bolts or are the rotor XX rings threaded like the original ones?

    Cheers

Well, I've swapped my the original 42/26T rings of my Specialized S-Works cranks with Rotor Q-Rings 40/27T. The original bolts fit perfect, I assume the same for the SRAM XX crank.

I have ordered Rotor Q-Rings 40/27T for my Cannondale Flash, to replace the stock XX 42/28T rings. They should be in early next week.

    Weight difference?
Greater chance of dropping the chain?

My SRAM XX compatible Q-Rings arrived today

Apparently, smaller bolts are needed (and were included).

Never had any issues with the Q-Rings on my Specialized S-Works cranks, chain never dropped off once.

Don't know and doesn't interest me. These weigh 96g according to the Rotor website, perhaps via Google you can find the weight of the XX Q-Rings.

Mine did not come with the Extra Bolts needed, I had to purchase some chainring bolts.
For almost $300.00 I would think the Rotor bolts would look nicer.
Maybe I need to call Rotor.

I have Truvativ Noir Redwin Carbon, 44/32/22 and I was wondering if I could replace the rings and get the XX 26-39? Also if this does work can I keep the same chain or do I have to go to something else? and will my XT Front Derailleur still work or will I have to get the XX Front Derailleur?

    Thanks,
    Jason.

    benefits and differences?

ok - those of you running these -
    What benefits have you noticed?
Are you running any comparisons with power meters or standardized time trial?

Please share your Subjective differences in before and after conversion to the Rotor Q Rings

    thanks
