I'm trying to convert my Trek Top Fuel (2009, non-boost) from a 3x9 to 1x11 using a SRAM NX crank/chaining/derailleur, etc.

To get the crank installed without any side-to-side play, I find I need 7 mm of spacers on the drive-side.

That gives me a 49mm chainline.

But 7mm spacing seems large to me. Is that normal?

And the angle from the chainring to the cassette when it's on the largest cog seems large too.

First time working with 1x11, so I'm not sure this 7mm spacing is normal.
