Pike Boost and Non-Boost damper swap. Anyone done it

    I am getting a new bike with a 27.5 160mm Pike RC, boost. My current fork is a 27.5 160mm Pike RCT3, non-boost.

I thought I would swap the dampers to put the RCT3 damper on the new fork. Doing some research I see that RCT3 damper, boost and non boost have different part numbers. Is there actually a difference? What would it be? For example the air shaft part numbers are the same. My assumption was that boost and non boost pikes would be the same internally just different in the upper and lower castings.

If you're technical, swap can be done. It will require a full bleed of damper.

Main difference is in the thread-pitch of the top cap. Besides swapping the damper, you would also have to swap the cap to ensure your new damper will fit.
