New X0 and XX1 spring predictions?
It seems the XO1 and XX1 eagle has been out for a couple years now. What kind of updates can be expected this spring? I have been thinking of a GX Eagle upgrade but would hold off if there is product updates around the corner for X0 and XX1.

Like I said before Etap is a great idea for the road. I think it's the best money I've spent for my Venge. But I wouldn't put it on my Enduro I'd be scared to destroy a 400 derailleur every time I hit the trail.

Looks like it has a knock away clutch system. So you slam it, it moves out of the way then back.

I was talking more of vertical strikes that will mangle any derailleur and cost of this electronic unit vs say mechanical x01.

I've been getting a styream of emails today about the new AXS stuff seems eagle is not eTap yet, but the dropper post is wireless and road and mtb stuff is interchangeable or something (So I guess you can put etap red on the mtb? dunno)

blerg, seems there is etap eagle, email i was looking at mentioned the new 12 sp etap red, the dropper but said eagle wasn't, which i thought was silly... but it (or I ) was wrong ( I guess it was roadie orientated and they didn't care)

I see they are only offering the entire group set. What I'd like to know is if I can purchase the derailleur and shifter only and will that work with the X01 Eagle cassette on my bike. Don't know why it would not work and it seems that one should be able to buy components separately. Time will tell.

You're looking for the Eagle AXS Essential Kit. Booth will fit, weight differs.

Cool. I figured as much but had not yet seen it. Can't wait to see it in person & maybe even own it if I can manage and justify the price.

I read that the Eagle AXS would be available only as complete groupsets at the beginning, so I'm not sure if r2-bike will be able to fulfill these pre-orders.

Besides, Sram has prohibited German stores to sell Sram products outside of the EU, so even if r2-bike could deliver the "essential kits", it would be only to their European customers. I haven't found any US store that lists anything other than the complete groupsets.
