    GX rear derailleur cable pulley

Just had a new bike shipped to me from an online retailer and unfortunately the cable pulley on the GX rear derailleur broke in transit. The retailer is already working on a fix, but they don't stock Sram small parts. So in effort to speed up the process of getting a new pulley, does anyone know if the pulley on the GX is that same used on x01?

They seem to have different part numbers, but look very similar.

The x01 pulley appears available from a number of retailers. The GX part, not so much.

    Anyone know?

Just replace the RD and done with it. Why mess with trying to find parts?

Because the part cost around $10 versus replacing a brand new derailluer for $90.

You're not talking about damage that resulted from something that you did. We're talking a damaged component that was likely the result of improper packaging or improper handling in shipping. Most would elect to minimize hassle and down time to keep the buyer happy and expidite a new RD and get the customer on the bike and riding.

Oh yeah, I agree with you there. I guess I wasn't totally clear in my OP. While the retailer sorts out the issue and either gets me that part, or derailleur, I was hoping I could get the part myself to get it fixed faster.

Luckily I was able the get the derailleur working by letting the cable wrap around the axel that's supposed to hold the little plastic pulley. Just don't know how long the fix will hold up.
