Do Elixir pistons get stuck too?

Having struggled with my J7 pistons constantly sticking a few months after a rebuild, I'm wondering if SRAM/Avid has fixed the problem with the redesigned pistons on the Elixirs?

Any Elixir owners out there still getting the dreaded stuck piston?

Amazing! I guess Avid fixed the problem on the Elixir? Quite shocked that there is not one person with a sticky piston.

Bleeded Elixirs CR today. One lever appeared to let the air in, another stuck. Looking for solving the problem now.

Same problem here, those brakes sucks. (changed to XTR)

Both lever were letting air in after a short while.

Piston also don't move at the same rate at all after 3 months of riding.

I have had constant sticking/rubbing(uphill squeaking) issues since i got them. After several months i have needed to bleed x2 and also the pistons seem to stick and move at different rates, rather annoying. Trying to figure it out now. They do have great performance though!

Mine did. Thought I fixed it... Then they would come out unevenly...Then the horrible squealing/vibrating came.

But I did get 200$ bucks for 'em.
