    Avid customer service

    I just purchased some Elixir CR brakes and had an issue with the reach adjustment knob. Couldn't find the answer I needed anywhere online, including their tech manuals, so I looked on their website for contact info. Only a 312 area code number was listed. So I dialed the number, put it on speaker, expecting to be on hold for a while.

    After pressing "2" for technical support, "Nate" picked up in under 10 seconds to my surprise. He gave me some great tips on fixing the issue myself. Hopefully, I will be able to do so later tonight. I just wanted to give them props for the quick response and having someone who knew about their products so well.

    Thats pretty good!

    I just wish they had an email address or something for feedback/ideas. Unfortunately telephone support isnt that helpful for other countries/timezones.
