    2013 Lyrik Upgrade

I have a 2013 Trek Slash with the Lyrik R. Ive been researching on how to upgrade it but cant find any solid facts.Does anybody have any input on upgrading to the Mission Control Damper and Rebound?A few hundred dollars is cheaper than a new fork.thanks

Compression damper, regular or DH version same price.https://www.universalcycles.com/shop...&category=5671

    Rebound setup.

Pike air side topcap and tokens will fit and allow you to tweak the air volume like you can on the Pike! Have done it to my Lyrik and works wonders.

Can also ditch the qr axle and use a Boxxer Maxle. Been doing so a few years now and prefer it quite a bit.

Shop around, may find better pricing.

Supposedly Rock Shox will have a Charger compression and rebound drop in upgrade kit to pop into older Lyriks, but I've not seen it for sale yet.

Edit: found it! Just ordered one up for my own fork. Sweet!

Feels just like the one in the Pike on my other bike. No issues.

I'd say it's a worthwhile upgrade to an older Lyrik, especially if the chassis is still in good shape. You get new fork feel, for way less money. Do the topcap/tokens too - just gives you more tuning options, and is a cheap and easy bit to do.

When you performed the Charger Upgrade, did you remove the bottom cap from the old rebound damper?

I'm not sure what part you mean. The seal head?

You're basically going to pull all the damper side guts out. Comp and rebound.

Charger damper goes in as one unit to replace everything.

Yeah, the seal head from the MiCo damper, I originally left mine in then took it out hater seeing your post. Pretty sure it doesn't matter much either way.
