    World Cup or Non-World cup?

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on a new bike, but i'm torn.
I love the thought of the world cup, but also love the ride of the regular epic i've been on for a while.
Who has ridden both and can tell me noticeable differences in both of the new tunes and geometries?
1x or 2x is not a concern really. I am fine with 1x, it's what i'm running now (1x10). But i'm curious of the handling and other characteristics related to geometry and suspension tune...

I have. I would prefer the world cup any day. The shorter chain stays are noticeable, and together with the slightly steeper head angle make the bike more agile than the non-WC version. When cornering, and particularly in tight switchbacks, the bike did not have the truck feel of some other 29ers I rode, and handling was considerably quicker compared to the non-WC version.

While the difference in geometry, I don't notice the minimally reduced suspension. I'm not sure if the brain is really firmer on the WC, but if it is, it's not a bad thing for me.

Plus the WC comes with the carbon wheels.

    Get the World Cup.

Thanks! With the new Elite world cup it's making it even easier to talk myself into a world cup. But I was more wondering about the geometry and if it was much of an improvement. So thanks! It seems to me like it will handle about like a hardtail because of the geometry similarities. I like that.
Thanks for the great input! I appreciate it!
