Tubeless issues Roval 29 rims on my '12 Camber Comp

About 6 months ago I converted to tubeless on my '12 Camber Comp. The LBS used the wheels as is (red tape) installed the tubeless stems and added Stan's fluid. This week I noticed the rear tire losing about 10 lbs between rides and now I'm seeing residue at around the stem and some spokes.

Can I get by with a simple wheel/tire cleaning and fluid recharge or do I need a retape? I would be using Gorilla Tape.

Sounds like your best bet would be to retape. Don't use Gorilla tape unless you have to. Use Stan's, the Specialized strips or Orange Seal strips.

    Use Stan's, the Specialized strips.
You can wash off the residue inside or outside the tire with water and a sponge.

Ended up pulling the tire off cleaning up the loose stuff reinstalling with 4 oz of fluid. What a mess, next time may just add a couple oz through the valve.
