    SX Trail Tire Clerance

I have an 09 SX Trail and I want to use some more DH worthy tires for an up comming bike park trip. Does anyone out there know if you can run a 2.5 Kenda Nevegal on the back of this frame??

I have an '07 and the 2.5 Nevegal rubs the FD when it's in granny but just barely. I suppose you could rotate the FD just a hair but then the chain may not drop down in to granny. BTW my 2.5s measured an actual 2.7. I'm running 2.35 USTs now and they measure an honest 2.5.

I am only using a 1 ring (32t) and guide up front so this may work out fine as long as there is no frame rub.

Yeah. You'll be fine. It's a little close to the frame but I don't think it'll rub.
