Why two? How about a diff. experience? A single speed, single speed 29er, or a 1x9 something. I had two bikes at one point that were so similar I only ended up riding one. Now I have three totally diff. bikes, all for different styles and they all get used. Anyhow the Pitch is a hot looking bike.

You make a good point. Perhaps a single speed commuter might be on the card at some point... maybe the Centrum.. though don't think for a second that I am just some brand whore. Up until recently I was a Gary Fisher whore, then I discovered the Pitch which is almost identical to Genesis geometry. I love it. I love long low bikes.

My logic is to evolve both Pitch's into two different directions. Light duty Pitch, regular issue Comp plus whatever comes off the Pro for spares. And a heavy duty Pitch, mostly regular issue Pro but with a slightly burlier light-Clyde spec e.g. 500-540g rims etc.

Perhaps you could keep the Pitch you have, use it as your heavy duty bike, then get a stump fsr if you are married to the idea of having a lighter weight bike. The comp would be a little more price wise then the pitch you were looking at, but it would fit the lighter duty requirement.
