The e-bike movement is going to do a good job of pressuring every greenway and trail monitoring regulator to have a sound excuse to rid cycling on these paths. I know well, I'm on a couple right now dealing with this.

What is the difference between the 2019 Sworks and the Expert? Do you think its worth the extra 3k to buy the top model?

Definitely not worth the extra spend. You get the larger battery on the Expert and the better components don't add that much value.

Specialized is definitely pushing the boundaries with their top level pricing. For example you can build an SWorks Tarmac on your own for less than the complete bike cost...

Any ideas on sizing? I am 5’10 height , 33 inseam and 19.3 reach. I own a Yeti sb5+ in Large and it feels great. I am between sizes but in the Yeti i felt kind of cramped in the Medium

I hear they've stopped delivering them in Europe due to noise issues with the motors, and are replacing some already in consumers hands. That probably isn't helping availability in the US either.

Yes indeed there is a recall on all new Levos because of the motor noise ....ETA on mine is January.

Stop ship until they figure it out. Heard it is only affecting some bikes so they have not isolated the problem yet.

Well i guess that's why the shop i called said they weren't getting new ones in until January. He didn't tell me about the recall though, but was willing to sell me Levo's that were already on the shop floor.

That's because not all of the motors had the noise issue. Some work just fine so can be sold.

Are you sure about that? A Tarmac Sworks frame is $5k, the wheels are about $3k... that’s $8k. The whole bike costs $11k. No way everything else costs less than $3k.

“Value” is always more subjective than objective. No one can answer if something is “worth” the added value except you. Do I think the S-Works are worth it? I do. The best components, the best frame for “only” a few thousand more. But others will think the opposite.

Totally worth it to get the S-Works, if you have the extra $3800. You’re getting a full carbon frame, with better quality carbon (fact11 vs 9), carbon rims (awesome - I have a 2018 SWorks Levo), and better components all around.

I just got my 2019 turbo Levo and I’m looking for a way to override the speed limit (27km/h). Any ideas?

Do the DIY videos on YouTube videos for previous models not work for the 2019?

They've changed the software, so far it's un - hackable, much to the consternation of the levo universe

I'm sure once the Russians get Levo's, there will be hack found.
